How have I helped you. How did I help you? This is a question I ask myself over and over again, from the very first birth I attended to my most recent. I look for things that I feel I could have done better, and I look for the things I feel like helped during labor and delivery. At about two weeks post partum, I visit my clients and bring them a meal. I take this opportunity to see how everyone is adjusting to life with new baby and check on mom mentally and physically. I ask how they feel about their birth and we discuss their emotional and physical views throughout the experience. This is also often when I ask, how exactly did I help you and what could I have done better? I do this to better understand what I can do as a doula that truly helps my laboring moms, and what I can do to improve in that. There is ALWAYS room to learn and grow and that is SO important in any aspect of life. I challenge each of you to try to grow somewhere in your life you feel you know it all or you couldn’t learn anymore- I have a feeling you’ll be surprised at what all comes from that.
I say all this because I want real, tried and true, testimonials/ feedback from all of my clients I have helped. I don’t want just the good ones that make me look good ( don’t get me wrong who wouldn’t) I want ALL of it. If you have used me as your labor doula before, I ask you to post in the comments your own experience with me, rather it be I needed improvement or I was a joy to work with. This is a blog so the comments cannot be “doctored” before they’re posted, Comments are posted in real time by my real clients. Take that as you will. I hope to hear from each of you soon.🌷
I was blessed to be able to have Brooke with me thru both of my pregnancy’s , births , and postpartum. The support she provided for me and my husband during everything was absolutely phenomenal. Whether it was help with my birth plan , questions about what to expect at my next doctors appointment , questions about alternate options for things such as my glucose test , movements , positioning , and what tools I could utilize to get me thru my natural labor (water, combs,etc..) She provided nothing but the upmost support during this time , post partum included. I have a 2 year old and a 5 month old and I still reach out to Brooke for questions.
Any comments ,questions , and or concerns I had she answered promptly and efficiently.
We couldn’t have asked for anyone better and are so glad she was there for us.
I cannot recommend her enough. For my next children Brooke will be my doula, and I HIGHLY recommend she be yours.

Hey everyone, I’m Zesilia or Chechy. I was offered by Brooke while I was pregnant with my daughter, if she could get the experience of being my doula! One thing that stood out to me the most, is that she offered and just wanted to be apart of the experience. Throughout my pregnancy, she kept close contact with me, always asked how I was feeling and any new updates with my soon to be daughter. From day 1, she was attentive, observant, and most of all, intrigued with labor and delivery! The day of my birth, I called her and let her know, it’s time, and this woman flew to the hospital from I think her home. She was there in no time, and did not leave my side. She rubbed my hips where I was feeling the most pressure. She let the doctors do what they had to do but she also stayed close and was able to let the doctors know my wishes and what I did or didn’t want happening in the room. She was calm, and just as excited as I was! She also got some amazing raw pictures of the birth. All in all, she definitely was the person I needed in the room to keep me calm, keep me in high spirits, and keep the vibe in the room at a minimal. I felt safe, heard, seen, which made my delivery easy, fast, and everything I wanted it to be! After a couple weeks after the birth, she came to my home and got to meet the babygirl she helped me deliver! She got to hold her, and admire her patience with me. Her work had be complete with a beautiful babygirl and a happy little family! I would not change anything about the experience or Brooke herself! She was absolutely amazing, and never ever acted like she knew more than the doctors, me, or my babygirl. I was blessed to have Brooke by my side and as my person who knew my body language and what I needed! I hope to see her go on further with this dream of hers, and make herself just as proud as I am of her! Thank you! From the depths of my soul Brooke! You really set a tone in the delivery room, which made everyone else follow suit! We love you!!! ❤️❤️❤️
